I am a mix media artist interested in alcohol ink creations, collage, encaustics, and water media. I believe creating on the canvas allows our soul to fly free and dance with color and expression.
I enjoy instructing classes in many art forms, to ladies out of my studio, and learn as much from my students as they say they do, from me. Of course in the midst of our pandemic right now, we are not having workshops, but I am happily creating in the void and isolation, pursuing many things I have held at bay for a long while.
My artwork has been displayed at the CAVA Gallery (Centre d’arts visuels de l’Alberta), with the Arts Society of Strathcona County (ASSC), Kaleido Festivals, The Carrot, Concordia College and for the Visual Arts Alberta Fundraiser Auction.
I have shown paintings recently in the Misericordia Hospital, The Grey Nun’s Hospital the Glenrose Hospital and at the After Hours Gallery in the University Hospital.
I believe there is nothing more astonishing than dancing in a pot of paint!
