Growing up in Saskatchewan Claudette Pelletier-Hannah learned to appreciates the prairies, big skies, even the sloughs and ditches that lined the highways. This likely influenced her fixation for wild grasses that figure prominently in both her landscapes and floral paintings.
Claudette worked many years as a graphic designer, learning about composition. But she never felt like a real artist until she learned to paint. Impressionistic mark-making and movement are hallmarks of her work. Collectors often appreciate her use of color.
