I was fortunate enough to be able to retire early and so began my creative pathway into painting. I began painting tiny landscape miniatures and I have since progressed to larger formats. I am a little obsessed with color in most mediums - watercolor, acrylics, oils, alcohol inks and markers. Primarily self taught however I have taken advantage of some excellent instructors on line and on cd's. A major influence in my paintings is Robert Hagan whose generosity and amazing teaching methods have encouraged me to add figures and animals in my landscapes.
Creative endeavors have always been a big part of my life. Many of my creative efforts have been inspired by my love of colors. . In December 2018 I discovered
alcohol inks... they have a vibrancy I have not found in any other medium. A new world of abstracts in flowing lines, fantasy florals and a whole new challenge.
