World wandering kept Karen’s childhood interesting. She acquired the basics in visual art at Julian Ashton Art School before** **finishing an Honours French Degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Later she added a Professional A Teaching Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Never far from the creative world her competencies include drawing, oils, watercolours, acrylics, mixed media and poetry. With the encouragement of her husband and her four children she opened her display gallery, “Inspirations”, adjoining her working studio in Edmonton, Alberta. Pursuing professionalism, she helped organize the collectives “Devenir” in 2016 and DDK in 2019. She endeavours to inspire a more caring concern for our world through her work by blending religious and scientific thought. The two form an alliance, a divine dance, in which everything has its place. Her work forms part of many collections across Canada, in the U.S. and Europe.
