Going Home

The flight of birds is inspiring to me, and I’ve long been fascinated by ravens and their antics. I’ve seen a lot of them while hiking and during a trip to Haida Gwaii several years ago. I this painting I am imagining that these two ravens are flying home after a long day of searching for food and visiting with other ravens. They are flying through the gathering dusk and are eager to get home to their families for a good night's sleep.
